“Dr. Ladhani’s work in pain management is extremely important. The number of chronic pain patients who also suffer from concomitant depression and anxiety is known to be high. Depression and anxiety are known to fuel a cycle of pain and vice versa. In addition, this contributes to poor sleep and general anhedonia and in more severe case catastrophizing, which is a very poor predictor for chronic pain patients. In my professional opinion, it is very important to break this cycle. What patients learn with Dr. Ladhani are the skills needed to break that cycle and understand how to better manage their pain. I have countless patients that have done well in her program.
She has been a valuable consultant for myself and my patients for a number of years now and an integral part of treatment for chronic pain patients.”
